Bob is a 12oz electric-fired mug wheel thrown with black mid-range stoneware, decorated with barbed wire around the mug body with a three dimensional barbed wire knot for a handle. The title of the mug refers to "bob wire", a colloquial term for barbed wire originating from the Southern US. In addition to the resurgence of barbed wire in popularity as a decorative motif in queer arts and fashion influencing the design, this mug was also created as an ode to my hometown, a sub-rural agriculture town in the Texas Hill Country.
